Our organic Ashwagandha powder is air-dried, and is very low in moisture. As a result, freezing the powder would not actually add any benefit, and in many cases may be detrimental to the quality of the product.


The micronutrient profile is likely to remain unaffected by freezing, but the macronutrient profile and product quality may deteriorate. Water crystals may form during the freezing process which, when the powder is reheated, may actually increase the speed of growth of microorganisms and negatively impact amino acid content.
