Ceremonial Grade - Ceremony Grade highest concentration of amino acids, adding to the complexity of the taste and aroma of the tea. It is sweeter and less astringent than the other varieties. Bright grassy notes softened by copious quantities of creamy amino acids. This is mainly consumed as a tea.

 

Classic Grade - Classic grade Matcha, made from early harvest leaves. The taste is vegetal with a distinct bitter note at the end. Often used as a food ingredient in addition to a tea, although the Ceremonial is the sweeter and preferred tea amongst Matcha drinkers.
